DP and EBC are very similar...they grab like hell, i don't really care about brake dust that much, i want the bike to stop well and the EBC do that. My rotors lasted 60000 miles...not bad. I know i am talking about a bagger not a Dyna but stoping is stoping. In that case more is better...
I would like to add that i have a 02 FXDP and it has dual dics in the front with what looks like stock pads and it stops on a dime...if it had single disk i would be looking for something stronger.
well it sounds like the lyndall gold pads are the way to go i appreciate all the input my brakes stop ok but the squealing from the brakes once in a while is a little annoying

Appreciate this discussion. I have close to 28,000 miles on my '07 and the front brakes are just about finished so I've been looking into pads.
Hey Vic! dig it man my '08 fatbob has 50k miles on the stock original front pads, and I've gone through, well this is my 5th set on the back. And my first set of lyndall G+. I can say that they grip nicely, and I've just barley broken them in yet. I'm actually thinking of setting the fronts on a shelf to try the G+'s on the front. I guess the duals work well together because I use them!
I have heard that the Lyndall do squeal??? i have never used them but a buddy of mine did and several members here used them and squealing was an issue...Maybe that was eliminated when they came out with the Golds...I hear they replaced set if the customer had issues with them also...Kudos to them.
