Default High idle until complete stop

Sometimes while slowing down for a stop sign etc. my bike will stay at a high idle, like a cold start speed, until I come to a complete stop. It dosen't matter if still in gear or clutch pulled. I have expeirmented at coasting various distances , still stays high until bike stops, Is there a censor causing this. This usually happens at least a couple times during a ride but not always

Mine does it as well. I also had an 07 fuel injected sporty that did the same thing.

Default Mine never did before

I have had it for a little over 3 years and it never has done that before. It started a couple weeks ago after installing a new engine temperature sensor. Pretty sure that is not what's causing it to happen. So I guess the question is , What is telling my bike it has came to a complete stop & making it return to a normal idle. There has to be smtn. causing this since it don't always happen.
