seems the consensus is that the cycle visions barebacks are more discrete and have less issues (rattling, squeaking, etc.) than the edge brackets.

does anyone have pictures of HD saddlebags hard mounted to their bike? i'd like to see where the bag sits in relation to the fender strut.

I had the BBs on a 2008 Fatbob with docking for a backrest. They are a pain to get lined up the first time so they snap into place smoothly. Very close tolerances, not lockable. Once you have them adjusted right they work great. The hardware left on the bike is not very noticeable when the bags are removed, when using the quick release docking hardware for the backrest and the BBs the bags sit out a little wider from the bike. Could you give some tips on lining them up?
I left one (bag side) attachment loose so it could rotate, easy to get on/off but I'm not super comfortable with it being loose...

I have the bare backs and I think it is a mistake to try to pull both attachments at the same time . I found it works very well to pull one rotate the bag a little and pull the other . This also works well to install .
