I had my indy change out the pulleys. It was a bitch. Had to heat and tried an impact wrench, and broke the first tool and he had to make another to fit behind the pulley to get it to come free, along with a big cheater bar. Also, after you take off the stock pulley, compare it to the Andrews, stock is heavy.

I also had done a 107" build from Fuelmoto and had them send over the Barnett racing clutch. The pull was way to hard, and everyone agreed. I switched back to stock and have no problems with slipping even with the 107". So I would not change the clutch plate unless your having issues.

All done, and I am running it at rpm much higher compared to stock based on gear selection and speed and much more enjoyable. I wish I would have done the pulley switch before the motor build so could see what affected the power the most. But the bike is still very rideable.
I'm very surprised that your not getting some clutch slippage with the FM 107 kit.

Not good!

I guess this is why I bought a new sprocket nut - Plan B. I think Bluetoys method of drilling it off will have to work since I do not have an impact wrench.

While it's off, take a look at the splines inside the clutch hub. The 1st 3/8 inch of splines were broken off on my hub. Good luck with that 2 1/4 inch nut!

Unfrikkinbelievable.... Its amazing how that little **** nut can hang on so damn tight... Ha, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see if you got it off or not. I think drilling it off sounds like the way to go for sure.

Not sure what you are seeing, but everything looks fine to me - except that stupid 2 1/4 nut!! Think I might have to go get some better drill bits, my cheap ones are not penetrating much.

Had to get some Dewalt cobalt drill bits - worked great, nut is off. The nut set me back bad, done for today, not sure how much time I will be able to put in tomorrow, maybe just a couple of hours, but I'll post any progress.

Here is the old pulley(left), new(right), and that evil nut!

Excellent job, Mr Summers - highly doubt MoCo dealership could've done any better! Take a break, review everything you've done and prep for reassembly. Two thumbs up!

About 3 hours to take the nut off, you did better than most! Good job, am sure you will finish it up without further problems and riding on the w/e.
