Anybody else here order the thundermax auto tune in the last few weeks?? If so, how long did it take you to get it??
Ordered mine 14 days ago friday. So I called friday to see if it had shipped yet, and they basically could tell me.......nothing.
That's it. Nothing. It's in manufacturing. The ones coming off the line now are spoken for.
Funny, when I ordered it, it was seven to ten days expected delay, now I'm getting...............nothing.
Sure does suck having the bike sitting idle, waiting on one part and not able to get any information on when it will be ready, after having been told seven to ten days when I ordered. If they would have told me this order would be filled in an indefinite time period, I wouldn't have sold the PCIII until I got the thundrmax module in my grimy little paws[:@][:@]
Think I read someplace they were combining the ecu with the auto tune for a single unit, cleaner install. Maybe this is what is holding your order up? Everything I have read on the Thundermax auto tune has been good in both service and performance. I went the other route DTT TCFI 2 I haven't recieved it either but I ordered it 5 days ago. Be sure to write about your experience with it when you recieve it.
It's been 15 degrees and haven't seen the sun in weeks. Now working on the third day of 65 plus and sunshine, and no freakin' bike[:'(][:'(] Wouldn't have been a big deal if they'd have just been up front with me about the wait.
That hurry and wait crap gets you every time. As for me, I purchased a PCIII and SE slipons with the TCB's and have not had the chance to get them on yet. Good thing, found some vibration problems and have the bike up at the dealers to fix the problem. It's in the mid-60's here, sunny, and I need a ride just to clear the cob-webs that are hanging around. I'll have my stuff together for the weekend.
Keep us posted on the new tuner and what you think about it.
This bike should have come from the factory with this brain.
If harley wants the best running cruiser on the market, they need to just contract with the manufacturer of these things to put them in every new harley coming off the assembly line, and just ditch whatever the hell crap they are using now.
I am perfectly, simply, amazed at the difference. I should have done this first.
