As much as I dont want to ruin the look of my Dyna, I'm making the move to saddlebags. I guess it looks better than having a backpack and with the rides Iv been doing lately its time. The only bag that I remotely like is the LaRosa bag that is apparently a swing arm for the left side. My question is If i get the pair that are used for the softtail along with the bag bracket will it fit once I move the taillight? Has anyone done this and how does it look. I tried to look up threads on this, but i couldn't find any. The other problem is it is an 01.
Thanks
Once you move the turn signals, why don't you go for a dyna bag? J and P has several, as well as some easy off mounts that should fit your dyna. I know I've been looking for my dyna wide glide (01)' and they had stuff that'd work for me...
I'm with you. I have a gorgeous Wide Glide and I really don't want to "ruin" the good looks, but I would like a small inconspicuous bag - something like a little "imbedded" swing arm bag, but not for over $200! Just something to put a few things in, but basically bigger than my jacket pocket, and not stand out.
i'd recommend the leather pros detachable bags. They are large enough to carry whatever you want, and both come off in under a minute. They also dont leave any bad looking hardware when u take them off. This is the way I went. They are hard bags so they wont sag, and they are lockable. Just my 2 cents.
