I, like apparently a few others from what I've read this morning, have stepped up from a sportster. Yesterday I went by the dealership to talk to a few buddy's and pick at one of the saleswomen who sold my buddy his first bike the day before. My buddy talked me into a test ride on a 2013 fat bob since they were having some specials. Must say i'm hooked instantly after a 15 minute ride. I loved my sportster 1200c, it had all the power and was nimble for most situations but it left a bit to be desired when me and the little woman would go on a short road run for an hr or so. it's vivid black and has just the right amount of black and chrome for me, somewhere in between the street bob and super glide. Hoping to log many a mile in on this and feel as welcome in the dyna family as I did with my sportster
Congrats! I saw you post in my thread about doing the same thing I did
This bike is an awesome machine. I tossed some Cobra 3" black slip-ons w/ chrome tips on it and I don't think I could ever go back to a Sportster now. The dealer warned me that I'd be trading up in less than a year and they were right!
ha, danhuff agreed. and irony about the pics the little woman said we had to go take pics of it today. Just wish I had gotten to take some good pics of my sportster before i traded it in. Python pipes, arlen ness air cleaner, programmer, 12" burly apes and custom paint all in 6 months. wish i could afford to do the same to this one so soon lol. pics soon
