Izzi - great link/pics for your h-bar install. Between you and indica I think i'll be in good hands from all the great advice/pics/instructions for my upcoming bar change out on my fat bob.

Yeah, it was actually quite fun. It was the middle of winter and I had nothing better to do. I love seeing bikes with those apes on them. Now if I only had money for a deluxe. I would do airtail, black thunderheader and apes again. I will gladly take donations!

well, thanks for posting the link. it plus indica's was a great help last weekend for me - successful job, only thing i forgot to do was have some beer along with it.

Love my 13" apes! I really think they are a good upgrade. Either that or 6-8 inch straight risers and a drag bar.
Too bad Superglides don't come with at least 10" mini-apes from the MOCO....

Wish I would have read this before my 16" ape install. Could've saved me a few hours.
Being I have installed 16" apes, do you think that +6 cables are long enough (1987 FXR)? Please let me know. THanks!!!
