I forget what the exact model the the SE product was but it had the ability to upload different maps and fine tune more aspects of the ECM than comparably priced options. I will most likely go with the HD SE tuner since my bike is new.

Thanks again for all the great discussion!
I think that's a smart decision, given that your bike will be under warranty for the next 2 years. More peace of mind. (and your bike has the new 4 wire wide band O2 sensors, lot less of the issues caused by the old narrow band sensors).

Ah, if only it were so.

Unfortunately they are still narrowband sensors. They have just been changed to the heated type, so they get up to their working temp quicker and are more tolerant of temperature differences.

OK, not true wide band sensors ( despite claims of HD reps). Gotta do some research on that issue, since have been told they are a wide band type, ie. the 4 wire 12mm Delphi sensors 2012 and up HD Big Twins have been shipped with on this side of the Pond, along with newer version of the Delphi ECM. Maybe better function is due not only to being heated, but also location and angle of insertion into the exhaust stream, eh?
