Unbelievable, I also vote for the ban wagon. Be sure and get online and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I've done this with major cell phone companies and have gotten results
Wow. Sorry to hear your story.
I just purchased from them and had no issues and now have a great product on my ride.
I have heard the bad stories but over the years I have had four of their seats and never a problem
Corbin (as a company) has sucked for longer than most folks will be on this forum. On every MC forum I've ever been on its the same old story. Corbin employees find new and innovative ways to **** people off year after year. They either make one hell of a product or there are enough new people coming in every year to keep them in business.
I've had exactly one Corbin seat. It was for my Ducati Monster. It didn't fit on the bike and was as heavy as a cinder block. I had the requisite Corbin experience with them on the return as I remember. I'm kinda surprised they're still in business. Best company put there for saddles (for me) is Sargent. I've had stock saddles done up by them and they're quality. Not to mention they know what customer service is.
Unbelievable. Good for you to fight the issue. I bought a new Corbin seat for a Road King about 12 years ago. When I got rid of the bike I kept the seat. I thought it was/is a great seat. Things must have really gone downhill at Corbin.

Can you confirm that all their seats now come with Flames?
Looking online it appears that problems like this in dealing with Corbin are common. That and a lot of fitment issues all over the web.
They must be doing pretty badly to act and do things like this to their customers. Now that they have been trying to sell the company, maybe they know they won't be around much longer so that's why they don't care.

Common business strategy dictates you put your best foot forward when selling a business. Too many adverse comments on the Internet will drive down the offer price at best and drive away interested buyers at worst. Maybe they have been so concerned with customer's asses all these years that's where their brains ended up.
