Fitting a rear fender, need guidance.

It's not so much paying good money for a blank, it's paying good money for a fender precut, but not to fit my mounts. Harder part is find a long fender at 8" width or almost any fender at that width. Guess that's the reason we don't see many dyna's with more than a stock style fender.
If i have a blank with the right width I can make it fit right.
Fatkatz fenders are thick and can be welded and shaped fairly easy.
But I do have the tools to do it with.
I am not against fiberglass fenders, I do want metal inserts for the mounting holes
Fender looks good.

I am using the orginal metal support brace that is inserted from the inner fender, goes thru the fender and into the holes on the strut were the bolts thread into. So the glass just has a hole in it for the brace to feed thru. I would want to thread anything into glass, its not solid enough to hold a thread.
