A friend pointed this out the other day. I didn't notice until he said something. The brackets seem close together, but that's how it went together. I installed them along with new motor mounts, and did the complete alignment procedure, before adding the True Track.
Excuse the filthy bike, I live on a limestone and dirt road.
I just installed a True Track set up this weekend so I'm not sure if everything is settled yet but after a 60 mile ride today I looked at the gap between the front brackets and I'd guess it to be about 1/16" or 1.5 mm or there abouts.
I'd say the TT improvements are subtle but noticeable. A little tighter feeling. I have not experienced the wobble problems that some have had. At most some occasional unpredictable cornering behaviors - I'd describe a them more as lurch while establishing the line on faster corners especially if there's a decreasing radius.
Vibration is no worse, maybe a little different - my front isolator was touching the engine so I removed some material from it to fix this, so that may account for this change.
