My boy took his little hammer (with real metal head) and beat the $hit out of my metal electrical box on my 2011 WG. so I ordered and received another one today. I noticed inside the new electrical box there is a bracket that has two bolts and its tack welded on one side.I was told by the parts guy at the HD dealer that the box is as simple as pulling he two bolts out of the old one and simply replacing the new one.
what is connected to this bracket inside the box? and when I pull the old one is $hit going to fly everywhere?or is it as simple as the HD guy says?
No it's not used foranything not sure why they have that bracket. Just pull on the old cover towardyou it’s not screwed in or anything just real snug with the two plug going intorubber holes and put the other one in and you’re done .
