I do have the Nightstick, not much louder than stock with the closed end cap, but I do believe by changing to an open end cap and only 10 discs, there is a big sound improvement!

I found a good deal on the V&H Twin Slash slip-on this morning and ordered it. From the vids I watched/listened too, I liked the V&H sound better + I saved about $60 over the HD Nightstick.

+1 for the V&H slip-on, not too loud until you get on it, then it sounds pretty mean. Of course nothing close to my short shots, but it's a nice change.

i think you will be happy especially after about 1k miles, it will be broken in and the sound is really nice especially when you crack it open
I don't intend to do any other modifications other than the slip-on. I read that it is tuned for the factory engine. Anyone using one of these notice any difference in performance either good or bad?
