I'm currently running 17 inch Apes on my '11 Wide Glide and like the feel and look but recently been thinking of trying a set of T bars probably higher ones 14s at least probably but wonder how the bike will look without a fairing.
Any pics of WGs with t bars would be greatly appreciated. Also any pics of WGs with a fairing and tbars would be great too. Thanks ride safe
Any chance you have some more pics from the side more and frontal? How does it look? I love my apes also have 18s on my Road King but thinking the Tbars will have the height I want for comfort and the position for hard riding with my Wide Glide. How do the T bars compare to the apes you had as far as hard aggressive riding and comfort wise too. Thanks bro for the response and hopefully some others out there will help a bro out and post some more pics thanks again
The Tbars are by far more comfortable for me. I have a lot more control over the bike when riding hard and aggressive as well as fast on the highway. I can throw my weight around a lot more and fell much more stable in the twisties. With the apes I felt like a huge sail and caught a ton of wind on the interstate. The Tbars are much more comfortable for me. The 12" height puts them about an inch under my shoulders and I have had 10 hr days on the bike with no problems.
