The original owner I bought the bike from said that lowering the bike doesnt change the geometry of the motor.
When you lower a bike without changing the height of the Jiffy stand, the bike stands straighter. This means the angle the oil sits in the crank case changes.
It does not change a whole heck of a lot, but enough that you need to be aware of it.
JMHO - I lowered my bike, then put a -1" Jiffy stand on it. The lean angle changed from stock to lowered with stock Jiffy to -1" Jiffy installed.
My Dip-stick is as useless as **** on a snake! No matter how I use it, it always comes out splattered with oil...unreadable! And yes...the engine is off!
