I heard that the fuel ratio with the stock 02 sensor on the 07' and 08' fxdb's is to lean, which makes the motor run hotter and idle higher, and a wide band sensor fixes that?
The fuel mixture is controlled by the ECM to comply with EPA specs. Yes, they are all too lean. No, the wide band sensors will not fix the mixture or change the idle speed. As mentioned before, to use wide band sensors they must be compatible with the computer that is being used. The stock ECM uses ONLY narrow band sensors.
To add fuel to the mix you need a tuner or a fuel management device like a Fuelpak.
A lot of members here have gotten good results using some version of the XIEDs. They are a simple inline device that will trick the ECM into adding fuel, which will make the motor run richer and cooler. They are around $100 and take a few minutes to install.
Just might be what you need.

Stock rear pulleys on your 07 are 32t front, 66t rear. You can get a 30t cheap from Harley for a tri glide model, you can get a 70t rear for an '06 dyna, they changed the rear pulley size in 07. I love this gearing. Your stock belt will work fine, the axle will be pulled forward a bit so I put a little longer adjuster bolts in. You could convert to chain for a little more money but it's really not needed. If it's adjusted properly the belt will put up with a lot of abuse and it's quieter, cleaner and a lot less maintenance. Practice clutching it from a slow roll in first gear. The stock mini apes are actually pretty comfortable to wheelie with imo. 13" shockswill help. Save up to build the motor. You don't need anything crazy, check out vid in my sig of what a street bob will do with that gearing and 95hp.
Would a rear 70t pulley off of an fxr fit my 07' fxdb? I got a price from harley at $220 for the rear sprocket. I'll probably go with a used one on ebay.. looking for more different options

Whoa.. thats very steep. Look for a used 06 street bob pulley. In any case, if you get one brand new that would still be cheaper. Get the part # from ronnie hd microfiche catalog. Then price check lshd1.com, kutter harley, and newcastle harley for the best price.
