Been having an issue lately, when shifting from 1st to 2nd, I frequently shift into neutral and then it is difficult to shift out of neutral into 2nd. Also been having issues downshifting...sometimes have to double clutch when down shifting to first when coming to a stop....If I slip the clutch a bit when stopped Im able to shift into 1st with a unpleasant bang......the clutch was adjusted as per the shop manual but the issue persists.....the clutch isn't slipping in any gear, has anyone had an issue like this? As much as I hate to do it, Im considering dropping the bike off at HD to have them take a look since I have the extended warranty and Im suspecting an issue with the trans......been running Redline Shockproof in the trans for the last 10k miles......

 

I've had the same issue the last few months, as has one of my Sporty buddies. Just goes into neutral when I try to hit second off the line, if i downshift it's a loud clank. It doesn't happen every time, but at least half the time. If I really concentrate on shifting waaay up to 2nd it works fine. I don't want to have to think that hard about shifting when I should use my concentration on other things.
