Default 2011 street bob cam help!!!!

Hey everybody I'm new to this site and I need some help with idea for this upcoming off season I have a 2011 dyna street bob I have done a fair amount of cosmetic work to it and I figured this year I would focus on changing the cams I'm eventually going to bump up to either a 103" or 106" but I'm wondering what you guys would recommend for cams I want to get the most power i possibly can from just these this year... Also has anybody used the day maker headlight is it worth spending all the money on?

I did the same thing, basically. Started off with a Stage 1 96" and added Wood TW555 cams. Added considerable mid to upper RPM power, seemed about the same on the lower end. From there I went to a 103" with ported heads and a better exhaust system. Huge difference through the RPM range. There's tons of choices in cams, but I'm happy with the 555's. If I was going to do it again, however, I think I'd go with a S&S easy start (585s probably), so you don't have to mess with compression releases. When you do the 103/106/107 bore get rid of the short shots and for something 2-1.

Welcome to the forum. There is a real handy search feature on the right side of the page that will unlock more info that you could ever hope for. Theres dozens of threads that start with you exact same question. You can find all the cam advice you could ever want just by reading a few threads. Its the best place to start if I were you.
Cams are no small choice, do as much research as you can.

I think the biggest decision is deciding how far you want to go. Are you going to stop at Big Bore plus cams? Do you eventually want to get your heads worked on, if so probably need to upgrade your throttle body too. Having answers to all these questions will help you pick the right cam and to run the proper compression.

Right on........ Think way ahead to where you want your bike at cause a certain cam you get now mostly likely won't work with other engine setup because you don't want to build around the cam.

In my build the cam is literally the very last thing being bought. I decided the lift so that the head work could be done proper but that's it.
