Default 1/4 fairing help for 06' Street Bob

So I'm wanting to change up the look of 06' street bob, going up to 16in apes this winter, but I'm also thinking of doing a 1/4 fairing. My question is what's my best opinions, specifically if I'm trying to stay under/around $200? Or is this budget just laughable?

You wont get either for under $200 bud. 16's even if you find a good price on a set, will have you doing new cables as well. And fairings, used, are usually no less that $250. I'd pick one or the other if the budget is tight, and do your research before you buy and get what you want, and can afford.

I think I worded things wrong, I'm trying to stay under/around $200 just for the fairing, bars I'm just trying to keep under $1g. But the fairing is what I'm curious is the better looking for my price range, or the the best places to look for around $200

IF you do the labor yourself, you can easily do bars for under a grand. As for the best looking fairing, thats going to be different depending on who you ask... Still tho, unless you can find a good used one here on the classifieds, or ebay, you wont find one for under or around $200. HD fairings are closer to $500, rifle fairings, a little less than that. Every so often you can find a ness fairing for around $260. Just do some googling and look around.

Seems to be what I thought, I see them on here from time to time for around or even under $200 but they get snatched up almost immediately

If it doesn't work out, I got my ness fairing from leatherup.com for a good bit less than the other stores out there.

Paintable:

Gloss Black:

Came with the fairing and all mounting hardware. Yeah, I know it is more than $200, but like others have said, unless you're buying used it is going to be hard to find that. I also realize you have a potential deal with another forum member, but this could be a fallback if that doesn't work out.

Word of warning as well: the ness fairing is designed to work primarily with tbars that match the angle of the forks. If you have your apes pushed forward the fairing won't mount flush to the headlight and it reflects inside the fairing itself a bit. I am dealing with this now while I am using the stock apes until my tbars finally freaking come from west coast... It isn't terrible, and if you don't have your apes pushed forward like I do it may not even be an issue, but I figured I would put it out there.
