thanks for the replies guys. that j&s jack is real nice but no way could i justify spending $400 on a jack when there is still so much work i would like to do to the bike. the money never stops flowing when you own a harley.
You'll spend more money on repairs if the bike falls off the stand. That was my theory for buying the J&S and the first thing I bought for the bike 5 years ago. There are one to many stories of bikes failing off these craftsman/harbor freight jacks. None for the J&S!! I just want to make sure the $20k I have into my bike is safe.

Yuuup! $400 for a jack seem too much for me as well. I bought a yellow craftsman for $99 when OHS were closing the door.
