Default 14 Fat Bob. Can you ad mid controls?

Was considering a 14 Fat Bob but I'm too short to reach the forward controls. Can you add mid controls or even floorboards to a 14 Fat Bob? It looks like it is offered internationally but not in the U.S.
thanks

The options available are the switchback floorboard kit, or the earlier FXDP kit which I think is now sold by V twin or someone. The only thing you need to check is the clearance of the front header pipe over the mid mount bracket location holes. On standard bikes the standard (FXDC) mid mount bracket can impact on the top of the header cover if it shakes too much.(from the voice of experience) I've now got FXDP running boards on my FXDC and they suit folk of a shorter stature, as they are a bit higher than the switchback ones. To put mid mounts on the fatbob, you will need to replace both inner and outer primary covers for the gear change assembly, and that's just the start of it. Another option is to put a reduced reach forwards kit on it with heel rests. Have fun mate....

izzyryder just swapped from forwards to mids on his 2010 fat bob. We had a discussion on the primary cover changes here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...-question.html

So the FatBob will accept floorboards with only minor modifications? I would prefer floorboards anyhow

In the Accesories catalog it doesn't list that it will fit FXDF?

I have a 2013 and I just added a right and left side mid pegs so I don't have to do all the extra works and and spend the extra money. They said that if you don't have the hole on left side cover for the shifter, then it's going to be expensive.

I changed mine on my Fat bob from stock to mids. So much better control of the bike, better on the back too and no more lawn chair look like my bagger has. Bought a used inner primary case and a new outer prim cover. I got a deal on a set new mid controls but almost any Dyna controls will work. Heck most shops have a set of used mids laying around from doing a lawn chair conversion on someones bike.
