Looking for some info on EVO FXR or FXRT (mines an 86)
I am running Aftermarket forwards
my rear brake control is pushrod not forward
master cyl
I want to add an Engine Guard
I am thinking I can install my forwards over the Engine Guard
Anyone ever run into this?

I used to have an RT, with mid controls and an engine guard. Any of these pics help?

 

Hi, I have one in the shed that I used 20 years ago on my 86 FXR. It was off a full FXRP set-up that i bought (bags, fairing etc etc) and if I remember correctly the bottom of the engine guard mounts to the same 2 bolt holes that my forward highway pegs used.

I did remount my highway pegs, but found it a bloody tight fit to get my foot in there once on the road as the engine guard blocked the space a bit.

Lord knows how it would fir with forward controls, but you should be able to pull it off. Give it a try and see how you get on.
