Well ladies and gentlemen, like the title says, got some parts ordered for my Fat Bob! Right now the bike is pretty stock except for my exhaust, intake and tuner. So far I love the bike and I am going to start making it more my style.
Here is how it sits right now.
So the parts I have on order are:
Burley Slammers (Black)
Carlini 17" Pist Apes (Black)
LA Choppers 1 1/2" Risers (Black)
LA Choppers Steel Braided cable kit (Black)
HD Brawlers Solo seat
HD Get a Grip hand grips
Most of the parts will be showing up this week and some next week so I'll be sure to post pics as I install these parts! I'm pretty pumped and can't wait for you all to see the end product. Stay tuned brothers and sisters!
Thanks for the compliments guys! I will for sure be keeping you all updated. I will probably just do everything at once next week when I have all the parts. So keep your eyes peeled!!
Alright guys my parts are in and I am going to start the install sometime today or tomorrow. I couldn't be happier with the list of parts I have received and can't wait to have them on the bike. I got to thinking tho, and I totally didn't think about this. But, will my stock electrical wiring be long enough with my new bars? 17' Carlinis. I have been browsing around and have seen a few threads on wire extension kits and I'm pretty sure I am going to need to go that route. I'm just not sure how much longer I need to go with the wiring. I found a thread that a guy used on his dyna, the novello extension kits, I'm just unsure of what length to get since they range from 4"-24" of wire extension. Can you guys help me out who have done this before? I will post pics of all of my parts this afternoon after I pick up my seat and grips from HD today. Thanks for any help guys!
Ya, you are going to need to extend the wires. I'm sure that the stockers will be long enough to get through the bars. You may want to do that and then you'll have a pretty good idea of how long you will need to extend them. Good luck. It's always exciting making changes to the bike.

Thanks man I'm going to give that a shot tomorrow while I start doing the Burley Kit. I get butterflies when I start to get new parts for the bike. I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning! Unfortunately my bars fell on the ground today from the top of a box they were laying on and have some significant damage to the front side of the bars, so now I have to see what I need to do to get them all fixed up. At least that will give me time to get the wiring extension ordered and delivered. And more money I didn't want to spend...
Here are the pics of all my parts minus the seat and grips.
I'll have more pictures later today of the damage to the bars, and I'll be sure to post pictures after the Burley Slammers install. Later all!
