Me too. Just switched from semi-apes to the lowest possible drag bars on my Wideglide, and everything, including looks, handling, and rider fatigue has improved.
You pretty much had it nailed with the T-bars. What induced you to change to apes?

If it's the 7" rise Harley Street Slammer bars you took off, I'd be interested in buying them off you for my other scoot. But I'd be looking for a killer deal too.

Man that looks nice!! I had 16" apes on my last ride. Takes a little getting used to but once you do, you'll love 'em. Slow speed maneuvers almost did me in when I first got 'em. You're right about high speeds though, kinda like parasailing.
There's a reason guys that have apes put them on their next bike too. It's high on my to do list for mine
