Ear numbing sound, the shrt shots will directly affect your tollerance because its exiting in line with your ear. The further back behind your ear the better your tollerance for loud pipes.

Big Shots are close in performance to 2 into 1 pipes. Short Shots, not so much.

I have the short shots. I love them. If you want loud, they are pretty loud, but they sound great. I wouldn't say they affect me when riding or anything. It's not so loud that I can't hear myself think. In motion the sound is leaving you out of the pipe. Sitting still they are pretty loud. And the big shots are basically extended short shots. As far as performace they are probably more limited since they are so short. They're basically short pipes with baffles. But they sound great.

I went for big shots because of their cross over design. Like Chase1961 said, it's similar to 2into1 design. Also, my buddy has a short shot on his SB and it's much louder.

Good luck!

I had short shots on my '12 wg. They did sound great but there was a very noticeable loss in torque. I put on a Thunderheader last week. Not as loud but much deeper and the performance gain is amazing

Love my short shots with BCT monster baffles. The baffles get the small performance loss back and make a ton of difference in the sound.

the performance will be better with the big shots, they have a small H design cross over. had them on my fatbob with the 107 deep sounding and good performance.
