If I remeber right, the two different model numbers for the big suckers are that one you use for the stock cover and one you use for the round aftermarket cover. I believe the 18-507 is for use with the stock cover.
It has the center bolt, so I would assume it would accept any single bolt on cover...round, oval, stock, aftermarket or anything? Maybe I'm wrong...which is why I posted this on here. I want to be sure.
I want to bolt something like this on it....this is the stock round cover off of a '14 FXDB
Figure I can pick one up for minimal or possibly free at my dealer from their take off parts bin from someone changing it out before they took delivery.
Those 8" up covers will go on big sucker 1(not BS2).

Hey Sharkman you are right. I just looked up my paperwork and I have the 18-507. I have a 5 screw cover from HD but it came with the 5 star adapter. (it was a gift)
I can take a pic of it if you need it, but that is the correct part number

Thanks Rooti...that answers my question!
Gonna order it and pick me up some kind of round cover like the ones I posted.
Thanks everyone for you input!
Just ordered 18-507.
While I'm waiting on it to get here I'll find a cover I like. May make a trip to my dealer over the weekend & see what they have in the take off bin or may just get the bobber cover.
I replaced my stock AC with the Fuel Moto Stage 1, referred to as their Pro Billet. As someone else mentioned "it is a nice machined piece". It is available in aluminum or black breathers, I went with the black breathers.
I did this about 2 months ago and have been real happy with it. Currently I'm using the stock AC cover but only because I wanted to search a little more for just the right look.
Found what I was looking for at HD, it's a little pricey but some of the full kits (intake and cover) sell for what this and the Fuel Moto Pro Billet kit cost combined. Besides, this is the look I want...so it is what it is.
I'll snap a few pictures once i have it on, should be in next Wednesday.
I'm anxious to see what you select, you sound like me in that the stock cover just wasn't the look I want!
