well ****. I posted this on three different forums and so far this is the only thread where I am even getting a response. I suppose I'll give the service dept at my local dealership a call and see what they have to say.

If I remember correctly the rear
axle nut is 28mm. I bought a cheap one
from auto zone, about 10.00 bucks.

I concur.....1.1oo" would be a good size to use a 28mm socket on.

1 and 1/8 " socket worked for getting the nut off the rear master cylynder.... it felt a little loose, and probably is a metric, but the SAE worked.
