You guys are awesome! Thanks for all the notes. I found the plastic cover too. This will help if I need to stow any extra wire.

No cable replacement planned. The clutch cable will be a bit long, but I have a plan to strategically re-route sone of it.

Also, I found this series of videos that goes through the entire process. It's a home made video, but extremely detailed.

A little update.

Not a task for an hour or two. It would have been if I had chosen normal 1" or. 1 1/4" bars. Unfortunately, MX bars are 7/8" OD at the grip area. As a result, the wire bundles don't fit in the bars without taking all the black insulation/shrink-wrap off.

Also, the new model waterproof connectors, although small, don't fit. I couldn't get them apart, so I cut-and-spliced. No worries though, I was an electronics engineer at one point and consider this one of my few skills.

Then, I blew a fuse and had to go get a new one.

Everything is working, but I need to get the throttle back together, then tuck all the wires and route sone cables.
