I'm wanting to buy my christmas present. http://asset.lemansnet.com/static/sites/dragspecialties/flipper/2013Fatbook/#?page=1335 I'm putting them on a 12 FLD but Im kinda lost on what's what!
I would prefer it in black but I don't know what frame size we have, what parts are what!
I might be making it complicated but please help!
I would prefer the black set but can do chrome if I have to..
I would like to mount them to the frame littarly under the floor boards!
Because of my short legs and the control setup I can't mount them to the front down tube.
If you have mid controls i would just use the frame mounted highway pegs ( uses forward control mount holes) DK Customs sells them on this forum or just google search.
Jmunnery the FLD runs boards n forward controls so don't think that will work.
Stiggy are the FRAME tubes the same size as the front down tubes?
My legs are to short to mount these to the front down tubes so I need to mount them to the frame under the motor! Pretty much just forward of the back floorboard mount...
Grab a tape and measure the size of the tube. But if they fit 3 different sizes, they will probably fit
Agreed. Just because they start at 1 1/8" under the triple tree doesn't mean that they won't get skinnier under the bike. Thee are lots of parts to a frame welded together. Use a micrometer and check.
