Default Halfway through my bars install

So after reading the forums here and a couple other places, I decided I should be able to install my new bars with wiring extensions and my stock cables. Halfway through, I find that there is at least 10" of extra cable doubled up in my frame and my f*&#($ cables are both too short. I went ahead and wired the bars up last night and got them mounted up and ordered new upper and lower brake lines, clutch cable, and throttle cables (they were okay, but figured I might as well do them all at once). Got a new seat too, looks way better than the stock seat but honestly it isn't quite as comfy. The stock seat on the FB was one of the more comfortable seats I've sat in! Painted this derby today too in between cursing and busting knuckles.

Much more comfortable riding position than the stockers.

Badass man. Unlike most people here, I'm a fan of the new fat bob fender.

Thanks! I got the Magnum Shielding black pearl cables and have black rear strut covers in the mail. Should look pretty badass once that's all done. I've got shrouds for the forks to put on and I'm going to just take the headlight bucket off and get it powdercoated while it's all apart. The one thing I hate about this bike is the black trim ring on the chrome headlight housing. Going to ditch those turn signals too in lieu of mirrors with LEDs in them. Gotta stay busy for the 3 cold days a year in Florida lol

Super easy, 3 coats of wrinkle black VHT paint with 2 coats of matte clear over it. Didn't even prep the cover, just cleaned it, sprayed it and let it dry each time, then cleared it and let it set overnight. Total cost (minus the cover) - $13!

You live and you learn. Next time shout out and many will be there to help you out to avoid mistakes in the future. Looking good though! I just traded my old primary cover for a FB seat. I also happen to think they are a masterfully comfortable seat.
