Default Changing cams. Question?
I'm installing different cams in my 110. I priced out a HD cam bearing removal installation tool. $450.00.Im not paying that. Has anyone here found a different tool from Mac or snap on?

Heartland has the installer and remover both for about $95 on Ebay.

Get the one from Gary Beatty. It's a pretty slick little tool he made and simple to use. He has a for sale ad here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/multi-...ombo-tool.html

He mails them so that would work better for you in Alberta. Just have him list it on the customs papers as a gift.

I used my snapon blind hole bearing puller tool to remove mine. quick and easy.

Why pay the additional for the tool to R/R inner cam bearings on the later models? IIRC, you have a 2005 model; just need the tool for the early models; save some $$.

True. There is a $50 dollar difference...$50 can get me the Timken bearings themselves and then some. Good point.
