I have the original design, which is what I used in the write-up. It was difficult to fit with it taken apart per the instructions. Had to really wedge it in there. I've been told the new design (which you all have, only ~6 of the original were made) practically drops into place.
I'll be exchanging mine for the revised design after the season is over and I'll be sure to update the original post with a comparison.

I tried with the rear wheel up and down and a few different ways. I already gat an email back and will have a new one here tomarrow. Now THATS service. I hope they don't mind me sharing this email.
Hello Tim,
I am sorry to hear you are having problems with the mount.
We have sent you a new mount out, it should be with you tomorrow. Its actually a prototype based on the TC mount but with a top plate from an EVO version we have been working on. We are hoping this will fix the problem. The only thing to look out for is the clearance between the mount body and the motor casing (see pic of the EVO install) . You will need to use the original 3/8unc bolts to the motor as the EVO does not have the clearance for the M10 bolts we originally supplied. If there are ay fitting problems let me know.

I was dealing with Phil over there and I will tell you what, their customer service was impeccable and their shipping was awesome. Not to say that the part's were good as it gets for quality..........
These guy's are on top of their game for sure............
Hope it all work's out for the best with your install, good luck and let us know how it all come's together............
Pretty sure I'll be ordering one of these to put on this winter. My front mount has sagged and my right mirror is almost unusable. Can barely make out crown Vic lights in the mirror though so not all is lost.
Does anyone have an issue with the bottom crossmember hitting the motor? I hope this photo loads. My vibrations have got much worse the more I ride??? Everything checks out but this. My wife will no longer ride on it, she said her feet vibrate for hours after---I took her friend for a ride & she agrees.

How many miles on mount. .?
I don't have that issue. More pics? Where is that?

Replacing stock mount with a VT mount...motor sits higher (back where it should be)..not lower. Is this at the front of the motor, or the rear?
Its in the front. The X-member is where the kickstand mounts. The front of the x-member is only 1/4 inch from the lower engine case, case bolt is hitting kickstand pivot. I have about 400 miles on it--- non stop rain in Ohio or I'd have more. I was thinking maybe the rubber is settling??? I checked everything is still tight & rear mount looks good?? Ill try to get better pics this weekend. I'm going to check other Dynas on Saturday at bike night. This is driving me bonkers.
