I've had mine for about 4 months or so now. I have about 3-4k miles on it. Since day 1, it's been a noticeable improvement. The bike feels tighter, more rigid, much of the slop is removed in the handling. Vibration zones moved a little bit in the rev range, but nothing that is approaching offensive.
This, along with upgraded suspension, improved the handling of the bike substantially.
i had one of these mounts on my 06. It was one of the many things i stripped off that bike before trading it in. I wasnt planning on useing it on the new bike because it felt fine, but now with 10,000 and being 1 yr old it is starting to get alittle "loose" on the highway.
i cleaned up the predator mount the other day and it looks good. i plan to put it on when i due my 10,000 service in a week or so.
I wish i had taken my true track rear mount off my old bike too, but i was feeling lazy and the rear true track is a pain.
installed my predator last night, rode it this morning to work and my weird banging feeling on decel is still evident from before. its felt through the foot pegs and that worries me.
the bike feels more planted through a few fast s turns, but that damn banging was main the reason i bought the mount, any ideas?
The engine might be hitting the front of the frame. The header pipe was hitting mine. Loosen the middle bolt and have someone sit on the bike and torque the bolt again. That stopped my engine from moving forward.
My old OEM mount was doing the same thing. It wasn't holding the engine in place any more.
I have been digging the feel in mine while jamming helped the all around feel for me...however, if im cruising and take my hands of the bars they want to wobble, i can sometimes feel it wants to go on decel even when Im holding them. Any one else exp this? What fixed it? My bike had never done that before this mount.
To get to those right side bolts you can remove the two big Allen bolts that hold the motor and Jack the engine up far enough to wedge a screw driver under the mount to hold engine up about an inch. Now you have room to use the ball Allen to remove and install those tough to get at bolts without having to cut down an Allen or remove anything else

Well sometimes when you fix an issue then other things involved in the general wobble problem show up more and then you notice them. It happend to me several times, like when I improved the rear suspension I noticed more the wobble from the engine/tranny/swingarm. Now that that I put these mounts it all gone away.
I admit I haven't read all 300+ posts in this thread, but anybody running a Jagg low-mount fan assisted oil cooler with this mount? From the photos it doesn't look like this mount takes up much more room than the stock one does, but the Jagg is a tight fit already with the stock setup.

While not a Jagg or fan assisted mount, I'm running the HD low mount oil cooler with mine, and that one reason I got this mount is because it allows for the use of a low mount oil cooler.
From the pictures I see of the Jagg fan assist low mount it takes up no more space than my HD oil cooler.
But honestly I wouldnt even bother with an oil cooler unless you're running in 100*F heat and stop and go traffic all year around. I've considered taking my oil cooler back off.
