installed the predator/vibraticnics mount on my lowrider. Im not sure about it honestly. I will give it a good workout this winter. The bike is smooth as glass at certain rpms but has more vibes at low rpms. I didnt notice a huge improvement in stability, a little but nothing to get too exited about.
Something knocks over large bumps, so not sure about that
This is the mount i took off my 06 when i sold it.
The FED EX man brought my mount today. I have to say that, that is amazing, as the packing slip showed that it was shipped yesterday. Only thing is, it was ordered on the 25th of last month.
Installed the new mount today. WOW, what an amazing difference. Yes it has less engine vibration in all rpm ranges. But, I think the biggest improvement is it just makes the whole riding experience of this bike much better. I had a little front end wobble above 70 MPH and now that seems to be all gone. I don't do much Interstate riding but what little I do is in open country in the 70 to 80 MPH range, a couple times today I went over 90 and it was very stable all the up. I did about a 10 mile run today up the Interstate with a 15 to 20 MPH side wind and the old Super Glide loved it and was very solid feeling and comfortable. I came back on the secondary blacktop roads, some a little rough and some kind-of crocked, and the old Super Glide felt more stable and better than it ever had before. It made easy work out of the curves, no swerving around and it just felt solid.
The only question I have is, what is the procedure for adjusting the length of the stabilizer rod? Right now I just left it set at the factory setting.
I would think the factory setting is set for centre and would not need adjusting. Just as long as they have them set correct. The factory mount has no adjustment at all, you get what you get. I would think a good alignment machine should be able to check it though.

i am takin this mount off next time the bike is on the lift
Just a heads up for those of you with this mount. If you need a new center cap/plug for it I have searched everywhere for one and I didn't hear back from the company. However my search turned up with positive results and I found replacements.
I just installed my Predator motor mount on my 01 Dyna.
Install was pretty straight forward, having the oil filter off help access the mounting bolts.
Fit and finish looks good, but it's the middle of winter here in the great white north so I won't have a rider report of a couple months.
I have a question for those that have this installed, what kind of clearance do you have between your front header and frame? My old stock mount was sacked out and sagged bad so I had to shim it with washers. I've actually dented my head pipe after landing wheelies because it hit the frame downtube.
I was surprised that the motor didn't lift more in the frame after installing the mount... any measurements or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!
