Those look pretty cool. Can't say I've ever seen one on a bike.
I don't like how the pulley in the first post has holes drilled through the teeth to get to the end of the spoke nipples. The ones in the third post don't have that, at least it doesn't look like it in the picture. Not sure how they put the nipples in with no holes, but I don't think I'd like holes and edges on the teeth of the pulley.

I agree..i wonder how it would affect performance...its not cheap either at about 400..

Looks as if they either upgraded the design or maybe have two versions, the second set seem to be a two piece set, one side is outboard edge and inner hub with nips going thru and inboard edge out teeth, being sandwiched together to become a solid part.
would be strong as ****! no worries on that, i mean honestly how often do you see loose spokes on a bike. i can tell you maybe 1 time in all the years i have seen spokes come loose. i love this but was not going to spend the $$$ on a pulley
Guess it depends on how much torque we are talking about. For me, stripped threads out of every other spoke on 2 wheels in 2 years. Basically the center hub rotated a few degrees out of sync with the rim. Works like this, you know how in your minds eye you see yourself going thru the gears and it looks really cool, You catch 2nd and the front wheel comes up, 3rd the rear slides a little sideways, 4th the tire barks then you pull up to the next light with the back of the bike waggin like the tail of a dog worried if you can get it to a safe place before the rim falls off the hub. After the 2nd time I replaced the spoke rim for a cast wheel. i can't afford to keep replacing spokes in a wheel let alone in a pulley.
