I just installed the new DK Breather System for stock ACs on my 2013 Street Bob.
I originally planned to route the tube to the rear breather through a hole right next to the bolt.
However, I didn't like how much the tube was crimped, so I drilled a second hole that allowed for a gentler curve in the tube. I'm plugging the first hole.
The front breather is outside the AC cover, so no hole needed there.
I ran the tube almost straight down and back a little and tied it off on the brake rod making sure that nothing was going to rub or bind.
Weather and having the bike torn apart for various mods mean I can't try it out any time soon, but I'm looking forward to seeing how it affects performance and changes my tune.
Easy install, great product.
Edit: Added fourth photo for clarity of tube routing.
I think it is a very healthy mod to do for your engine, but if everything was running well before, I don't think you will notice anything or need to change your tune. I am in the middle of an engine build and plan on running a tube from both breathers into a small filter.
that's the strangest hose routeing ? I"ve ever seen , you sure that's right
Well, the front breather bolt is outside the filter and cover, so it just wraps around the back to the T connection.
The rear bolt is just inside the filter, so a hole had to be drilled.
I didn't like the placement of my first choice, right next to the bolt so I plugged that one and drilled a second hole far enough away from the bolt so the curve of the tube would not crimp it.
The filter is about as straight down from the breather as I could get and a little back. It's to the side so not inline with the back tire.
If you see a problem I'm missing, I would appreciate you pointing it out.

If you do this, make sure you check the filter regularly. They tend to get oil-soaked and then just become a collection area for dirt and grime, drip oil, and end up clogging up. This means that they're not doing what they're supposed to do in the first place - which is to provide a place for the engine to breathe.
