Default Will a dyna low rider stage 1 air box fit Street bob?

Hi folks,

I am about to fit some V&H big shots and an Arlen Ness Big Shot 2 to my 2010 Street bob, and I have the chance to pick up a dyna low rider stage 1 air box with filter.

I like the low rider oval cover but I wanted to seek advice on whether this is a simple switch over or if there were differences?

Cheers

I could be wrong but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It's all the same engine and the a/c doesn't connect to anything other than the motor, intake, etc.

i might be wrong but i thought all harleys had the same mount system for AC since the mid 90's

altho i did have some problems with the fitment of the huge sportster chrome cover. had to bend it some so it wouldnt scratch the tank on my fatbob.

Thanks for the reply, I picked it up for Ł20 / $30 so a cheap stage 1 filter upgrade until I can fund and fit an s&s teardrop filter, never having fitted a stage 1 filter before, am I right in thinking that the stage 1 filter backplate is the main difference from the stock one due to better breathing capabilities?, is there any way I can double check this?

I can also pick up a chrome s&s teardrop filter cheap, but it is a carb version not efi, is there any way of modifying one of these teardrop covers to fit a modern efi setup?

Thanks again

there might be a sensor on the eu version but to my knowledge the only difference in recent years was the crank case exhaust vent tube.

non harley covers may need their own bracket. but k&n drop in filters ( and some other brands) with a different oem cover shouldnt be a problem.
