I am running the SS585 cams in our 106 and 113
The biggest difference is the head work + lower end was built on the 113 and not on the 106
I would consider doing a stage 4 head work. The 106 is using a polished throttle body and larger injectors. The 113 has custom made throttle body-49mm
I believe if you do stage 4 head work with SS585 cams you will be very surprised at the power you will gain. However, once you get to a point in power the bottom end needs beefing up or at least check the run out. A 120 hp engine needs the bottom end taken care of for sure.
The 113 ended up with 128hp at 148 tq. 108 tq at 2,000 rom's.
It can get real costly if your not careful. The difference in cost between the 106 and 113 was frightening.
