Ive had lots of other bikes, could'nt afford harleys,,but when the twin cam came out,,I got real interested,,Id ride all the models at demo's,,,read tech boards sence 99,,,dyna's base model was all I could afford,,,the dynas are the true cycle,,urban cowboy is right on,,But the smaller contact patch of the front tire on the wideglide's-look better but--an astrailian dude"s (lakepipes) rides his 01sg 100mi+oneway to drag race it,he rides with an old racer on a wideglide who passes ricer's in corrners,,SOoo wg's can handle,But with the new S.Bo* the 49?mm front end would allow for a fl tire...I think it could handle it...maybe I could put a biger frontend on my 02fxd with a fl tire...someday..

I have the luck of running the Demo rides at Manchester Harley. So I have road pretty much all the bike Harley has, and I must say that the Dyna is the most all around bike there is. Sure the Electraglides are comfy, but they can not handle like the Dyan, same goes for the big softails. So I am very happy with my FXDBI

Yes, it handles so well, is so nimble, very comfortable, I REALLY like my Dyna. And yes, I've had many bikes and this one seems to handle better than all of them.

My SG just fits me. The look, the feel, and the way it handles was the deciding factor. When I bought mine I was looking for something with a particular look and feel.

I was looking at the 2007 Heritage Classic. I rode it and I just couldn't go there. I felt like I was driving a station wagon. It was boring.

There's just something about the Dyna line and the way they handle and ride. With the ability to add a nicer seat, windscreen, backrest, and soft side bags, I went with the FXDL. More fun for cruising around on and very capable for the 200+ mile rides.

I don't have my FXDL yet, but I was able to take a spin on a friends '07 Bob on Saturday and it was a really nice and responsive ride. It felt so much more sporting than the Heritage I rode.

I have owned and ridden FXR's and the Dyna's. I still own two Dyna's and love them...but I just have too many bikes.

I always thought the FXR's were the way to go. Then they started making the Dyna...I got hooked on the Dyna. Great bikes and handle well...cool bikes too.

The Electra Glide feels lighter than the Dyna....yea I don't get it. I still like my 1998 Low Rider, which I am keeping though. If you ever get a chance to ride a HD touring bike....you might be surprised how well they handle. They are not as big as you think.

I plan on getting an electra later on in life so I can clean my DWG back up into a sleek machine. Knowing what I do now about how I like to ride, I still would have choosen the Dyna for a first bike. I'll only add to the stable. The Dyna is here to stay.

Since you've owned/ridden both how slow or fast are the FLHs compared to a Dyna? I plan on trading in my Street bob/Dyna after this season but I don't think I could take anything much slower.
