I just got to ride a friend's 07Heritage Softail, and although it is a very nice bike it does not compare to how I feel riding my 06 WG. Anybody else feelthis way?
I've never ridden anything else. My SB was my first bike, first time ridding, and I wouldn't change it for a million bucks. Well, maybe a million, but I wont ride anything else.
I was on vacation about a month ago and rented an 07 Heritage Classic it was bone stock. I own an 06 Street Bob.
I agree 100%. The HC was a nice ride but it did not handle like my dyna ( not that I expected it too). I logged about 850 miles on the HC over 2 days on varied road conditions even dirt wash board. The wind shield and floor boards were nice on the highway but I like my forwards and pegs better. I didn't like the HCs heal-toe shifter. I did on the other hand like the storage bags but I could always put some on my dyna but I don't like that look. I might go for the HC with AC and exhaust mods when I get a little older, for now I would not give up my dyna for one.
i have a 99 super glide sport, and my boyfriend has an 06 heritage softail classis. if i have to ride his i will, but there is nothing like my dyna...i love the ride, it is an awesome bike!
Coming from sport bikes I can without a doubt say I am glad I bought my Wide Glide. It is the first Harley I have ever owned and hopefully not the last. I have ridden other Harleys, and even other Dyna models but the Wide Glide is the nuts in my opinion. The nice thing about Dyna's is you don't see them as often as other models, at least not around here.
