Default Super Glide Custom gone?

The 2014 Super Glide Custom is gone from the Harley Website and replaced with the Low Rider.

Does that mean the 14 SGC is history?

Well it means they are not making any more. I saw one in a showroom but the dealer told me that was his allocation. The 2014 FXDC is a unique bike now because it is the only one built with the 103 Cu. in. engine.

not sure how much that matters since its easy enough to get a 103 kit for any of the 96"ers.

give em a coupla years and the superglide will come back. if i had my guess it'll come back as the fxdxt version

Yea, mine is a 13 and I upgraded to the 103 stage II kit since it was cheaper than buying a 2014.

Little did I know I was buying one of the last ones.
Unfortunately when and if the Super Glide Custom returns, it will have liquid cooling.

My understanding is that the Super Glide was the very first Harley ever made as a 'Factory Custom' bike.

A sad day in Harley's history to see the model go.

Maybe it's time...? Who knows

That's too bad. She has been a reliable and trustworthy platform for a lot of projects. I think I'll hang on to my 05, carbed FXDC. She is everything I want and always puts a smile on my face. I love her a lot!!!

Well, I don't have the exact figures, but it could be figured out by the following that I do know.
I paid $16,800.00 OTD. It is the two tone color and I paid 8% Sales Tax. I am sure I paid setup and other fees which were included, but don't have that info with me right now.
I also know the 14's were about $700.00 more than the 13's.
This price included parts and installation of the 103 Stage II kit(cylinders, pistons, & cams), inner and outer primary without the shifting hole, and the forward controls.

I paid for the SE Mufflers myself and got 10% off the regular price on those.

I would say I saved close to $2,500.00, wouldn't you?
