Default Unknown dyna Pictures updated

Hey everyone,
So im a new member here and im totally lost when it comes to motorcycles. Unfortunately my uncle passed away and i acquired his bike which is a dyna. He had disassembled the entire bike. When i say disassembled, i mean every nut and bolt and many little pieces. I cannot identify the bike as there is no VIN numbers anywhere on the frame but i can say that the parts are wrapped in newspapers dated from 1992 lol. I will post pictures tomorrow of the frame. I have enough parts to probably build 3 bikes if i had three frames. Anyone know of a guide that can help me moc-assemble this bike?

I been searching on google but i guess you can say im taking the lazy way out and asking as i hate searching.

Thanks so much!
Andrew

You should have a frame number stamped into the frame, generally at the head stem, if earlier bikes were different I'm sure someone will chime in, btw no frame number where I am would indicate stolen, unless its a custom job with no engineers stamp. And check the engine casings for numbers as well, post some pics, that will help people identify for you.

A couple of possible routes to go....

If your uncle ever put it or them on the road, you can start by looking for an old license plate tag or registration paper or title and research that...

You should also be able to find motor case numbers and go from there...

There is also asking relatives and family if they have any photos of him and his bike...even old bikers always have photos of their rides...start with your aunt if she is still alive and his children if he had any...someone somewhere has a photo...

Good luck and let us know what you find...

I hope these pictures work. This was supposed to be his retirement project and bought the bike as a whole and disassembled the whole thing. i also have stacks of boxes with new and old parts. Once this bike is identified, could someone point me in the right direction as to buying a certain book for assembly or even a legit website that could hold my hand though the whole process. Thanks everyone!

looks like a rigid frame, post some motor pics (heads)...post in the general info section and you will get more views with probably the answers your looking for.

maybe take a day and lay out every piece, take pics and a experienced mechanic/builder can tell you what your missing to a certain degree anyways.
