Default Switchback oe Street Glide?

I'm looking to move from a Sportster to either. A Dyna Switchback or Street Glide. I love my Sporty, but find it a tad bit uncomfortable on trips. So I'm looking for input or feedback from those who have some experience with these models. My budget should cover either. I like the idea of 103ci in a smaller frame, but want a fairing with radio. Bag removal not important...but could be nice.
so what you have to say???

Traded my '09 Sporty last year (883 xlc) for a Switchback, haven't looked back, love the bike! Goes good, has nice hard bags and windshield. If you want a stripped down version, it only takes a minute to remove both! Its also comfortable for the wife to ride on back (I suppose that could be viewed as a plus or a minus)

Get the street glide. It's a tourer and better for touring.

You want a faring and a radio, the answer is obvious, especially for touring.

The short wheelbase of the touring bikes make them highly maneuverable. The acceleration difference is negligible and comes down to the driver. And that is at stock power levels.

I have a Street Glide and a Wide Glide. The WG is a more comfortable ride, you can stretch out on it, it's noticeably faster and much more maneuverable. All around it is a far better bike. I'm cramped on the SG and I'm 5'7' so if you are tall either get a Road Glide or a Dyna. Unless you plan to do 60 percent touring -- more than 500 miles at a crack -- a Dyna is the way to go.

Dyna! Streetglide is way too popular--Switchback is my choice--but this is your choice. Buy what you like and to hell with what anyone thinks.

I'd take a Street Glide any day of the week, blast heavy metal and annoy the crap out of my neighbors and slow moving traffic.

I would take the Street Glide over the switchback. The Radio and bigger bags plus the fairing would be really nice.

I saw wait till next year until the new road glide comes out. Rumors say it's gonna be bad *** w/.......supposedly a v-rod engine.
