Switchback oe Street Glide?
clevis pin when done correctly removes that 2400-3200rpm vision blurring vibration.
also
ALL of the QD hardware rattles no matter what bike it is on hence all of the posts across this whole site
about annoying rattles from backrests and trunks
I don't know if Harley just hires incompetent engineers or they do it on purpose just to get more money out of you but seems like the all the bikes they build anymore have something wrong.
Remember when you could buy a bike that had a decent seat? Then the MoCo got smart and decided to put the crappiest seat they could on the bikes just so you would buy another.
How about the first Roadkings? Seems like everybody hated the handlebars so they got more business that way.
Can't hardly buy any bikes that will accommodate the rigid sissy bar side plates so you will have to buy the more expensive Q.D.'s that rattle.
Now the Switchback and the exhaust. I understand not everybody will buy HD stuff to replace the crap they put on but I'm sure enough do to line their pockets some.
I guess I'm disgruntled enough to bitch about it but too cheap to buy another exhaust and feel I shouldn't have to. The last time I brought it up to the sales manager (the vibration) he more or less acted like I was the only one and their loaner bike is way worse than mine.
After 30 years and who knows how many new Harley's, this will definitely be my last one.
I bought my dream bike, Street Glide 18 months ago. Now I long for a Road King.
My SG shakes like a paint shaker at idle and is smooth as butter off idle. I did not find that with Switchback I rode. The Dyna has a vibration at speed that I find annoying.
I listen to pipes, I NEVER have the radio on. I long for the simple windshield of a RK, it will be my next bike.
Some bikes will feel more comfortable than others. I do recommend taller shocks on the SG.
For those that say it sucks around town, are little refresher:

.
RG has other advantages - lighter steering, wind stability, storage.
You get the picture. I may have spoken too soon tho, I might buy a V-rod if they ever make one that you can actually ride.
