There is a nut on the outside of the pipe. I didn't have to mod the heat shields though, they fit over the nut without an issue.

Just take out the stock baffle screw, then use the thumbscrew from inside the pipe. You will use one nut on the inside of the baffle and one on the outside of the pipe.

Thanks I will definitely give this a shot this weekend! Sounds easy enough! How do u like them on ur bike was it a noticeable difference

I really like the modded baffles. It is definitely a noticeable difference. I switched the map on my FuelPak FP3, because the thumbscrews made a very noticeable change in the way the bike was running. The pipes sound better, not so raspy, more growl and it seems to have more low end now.

What did you change your map to on the FP3... Iam runing the same setup and looking into this cheap mod.

I switched to the quiet baffle option, made it run a lot smoother with the mod. I am running the autotune now to see if that makes any difference. Put in quite a bit of time Friday and I am really liking it.

I've read few people runnin in to problems with the fp3 autotune, did u have a hard time as well?
