Question TORX bits required?

Instead of buying a Torx bit assortment I am wanting to just purchase the specific torx bit sizes needed for the Dyna.

Anybody know which ones are required for the simple stuff like oil changes and whatever else a novice mechanic might need to use on his FXDC?

If you do decide to buy a set, either get one that includes a T-27 (most sets do not include that one), because you will need it for the derby cover. If you just buy the ones you think you will need, you'll most likely find out you need others too and off to the store you go again. Save yourself some aggravation and get the set.

I only use size T-25 and T-27 on my '08 FXD. But I'm not mechanic. I just do my own fluid changes and changed out my bars.

Take the money you'll save by not buying a full set of bits and get yourself a shop manual.

you will pay in the long run because one day you run in to something and need one that you didn't buy until you have a full set from multiple manufacturers. I got a full set of t-handle torx for about 35$

My .02:
You get what you pay for, dont buy cheap tools unless you enjoy screwing up fasteners. Craftsman (Manuf. in USA, not China)) is about the lowest quality I would even consider buying. If you buy cheap tools do yourself a favor and be sure and buy a good set of drill bits and easyouts

I bought these in a emergency to just get by. They have lasted several years now without any problems.
