Thanks for the info, we will have ESD safe conductive safe sets soon, I didn't know whether they were applicable to your work. We have a lot of customers in the high-tech defense industries who work in ESD safe clean rooms.
We are working on a universal joint now! We've made some prototypes and are running a small production run today. I'll have to get back to you on the torque range, but it will probably be around 200in lbs because that's the max torque for our ratchet. Here are so some photos on a prototype, it's not black oxided
Are you on our e-newsletter? When they are available (and other new stuff/deals) are available I send it out there first, usually about once a month. You can sign up on the top of our home page.

Reason: Photos too big
I've been looking for something like that to throw in a saddlebag. Thanks for the link/code.
You're welcome! I'm a horse guy, when the first customer called me and said "I'm looking for a screwdriver set to keep in my saddle bag," I thought to myself "why do you need a set of screwdrivers for a horse?" Luckily I kept my mouth shut and figured it out quickly, because he would have thought I was a complete idiot.
Maybe an "extreme" system with a ratchet that will accept ultra short bits but not let them pass all the way thru. I made this and used a box end wrench modified with no angle to hold it but it was hard to get axial pressure on the bit since it passed right thru the wrench. It kept wanting to cam out of the bolt. I should have welded it to a bar but ended up just cutting off the bolt head with a sawz-all. Worked for since since I didn't plan to replace the bolt.

Thanks for the suggestion! We are looking into making very short bits without a knurl, so when you put them in our ratchet the drive end sticks out a little bit and the other end is flush with the ratchet gear.
I got a call a while ago from a customer who works in a specialty machine shop, and each guy on his team carries two Chapman sets, one regular one and the other with all the ends of the bits cut off for really tight spots.
We're also in the process of making longer bits for recessed screws.
