Thank you for the reply, I think will keep an eye on Ebay for a touring windshield, I am use to frame mount fairings on my previous machines but am looking for something a bit better than the HD compact windshield, although not bad, want something a bit better for an up coming trip in September.
Another update for you. Today I had time to trim off the bottom of the new windscreen so I could fit the Memphis lowers on with it and retest it on the highway.
SUCCESS!!!!!!!
I can drive up to 75 mph with no buffeting. I even took it up to 90 mph for a bit and there is only very minor buffeting. So little I could drive all day at that speed and I have a very bad neck. (Disk problems and have had spinal fusion) Right about now I am a very happy camper.
Here are a couple of pictures of it. It is 2" wider on each side at the bottom and about an 1" wider at the top as well as 1" higher. It also has the recurve at the top to deflect the windblast upwards even more. The windshield is also rather deeply curved as you can see in the picture from the side.
Cut it off with a hack saw leaving three threads showing and run it. It's only a set screw.
Took only 4 harbor freight blades to cut thru. Now I have sore shoulder and left fore arm. Not a youngster any more. What a great addition to have. Able to stretch out the kinks on long rides.

I just picked mine up on saturday....I have only put 60 miles on it. The bike had 2100 when I purchased it....its bone stock. I love the bike, but as usual, the bike is way way too plugged up from the factory, some basic mods should clear that up though....Does anyone know if I can get xieds for the 103 dyna motor?
