Jumper, what windshield is that and you have much buffeting? I'm thinking of adding one for winter riding and or serious hwy miles. Thanks.
Look at this one in the classified section. I own one and recommend it. Not too big and clunky and good for keeping the cold air off of you. Good for long rides in warm weather also.
Thanks Antonio. Hadn't seen that. Did I use to see you hanging out in a Triumph forum? I use to own a Scrambler. I got more comments on that bike but just didn't fit my short inseam.
Just get the Battery Tender Jr.. It's the same 3 step charger that comes with the charging pigtail that is attached to the battery and is just under $25 from Amazon. I have used them on all my cycles.
I did. I also got free shipping but did get hit for sales tax. The Battery Tender Jr. is the way to go. No reason to pay more for the same thing with nothing more than the HD logo on it.
Took my bike in for the 5000 mile service yesterday. All went well. As I was talking to the Service Manager, he said the only thing that he could see was tire pressure. Told me tires were 41 PSI rear and 32 PSI front. Told me to keep them properly inflated to insure long tire life. Said I should be at 38 PSI front and I cannot recall what he claimed for the rear. I told him that the owner's manual said 40 PSI rear and 30 PSI front. I then asked how I was suppose to know the "real" tire pressure if the manual was basically off 8 pounds.
What are you running for PSI front and rear?
I run 38 in rear and 32 in front on the stock tires
